People have different views on sex. One of my exes would constantly refer to the week of my period as “blow job week”, even though there was no difference in the number of blow jobs he’d get during that time and any other time of the month. One celebrity has made the news with his controversial thoughts on cunnilingus.
Cunnilingus is one of those acts that people tend to have Marmite feels about. They either love it or they hate it. Well, for DJ Khaled, he claims that it is something he never does… but he still expects blow jobs in return.
What he actually said
The interview in which DJ Khaled made these controversial claims is an older one, dating back to 2015. However, it has recently resurfaced and caused a hell of a commotion, with tons of people thinking that he really needs to change his attitude not only to sex, but also towards his wife. But what exactly did he say?
“A woman should praise the man, the king. If you holding it down for your woman I feel like the woman should praise. And the man should praise the queen, but my way of praising is called ‘How was dinner? You like the house you living in? You like all the clothes you getting? I’m taking care of your family, I’m taking care of my family,’ you know, putting in the work.”
How we wish that was all that he had to say, but of course it wasn’t. During the interview on ‘The Breakfast Club’, he was asked if he goes down. His response? “Nah. Never!” The thought of him going down on someone was too much, it seemed, as he added “I don’t do that”.
It gets worse. The interviewer then wanted to know if that meant his wife wouldn’t go down on him, to which he seemed adamant that someone refusing to suck cock isn’t okay. His reasoning was interesting to say the least. “It’s different rules for men. The internet responds
As with any controversial topic, the internet jumped on it. People were stunned that someone could hold these views and expect their partner to put in the work while they do not. In fact, a number of big names weighed in on the topic.
The band Smash Mouth, best known for their hit ‘All Star’, stated that “A King who doesn’t is no King at all”. Actress Evan Rachel Wood weighed in with “You’re seriously missing out man. Take it from someone who has pride and thoroughly enjoys pleasuring women. You should grow up.”
Other Twitter uses saw the funny side of it, with one stating that “DJ Khaled bragging about having absolutely no game is funny as hell”. A large number also made jokes about him shouting “DJ KHALED” in the bedroom instead. Even an online dictionary weight in on the issue, explaining a word that they felt perfectly fit the situation, as you can see in their tweet below.

Learning to love cunnilingus
It could just be that DJ Khaled is very misguided in his views on cunnilingus, or that he is stubborn. However, it got me wondering if you could perhaps learn to love cunnilingus. For me, I think the answer is yes. So here are some of the things that you could do to try to learn to love the art of going down on a pussy.
First of all, you need to learn patience. Giving oral isn’t going to result in an immediate orgasm, no matter what porn or erotic literature suggests. It isn’t a case of one lick and she’ll scream your name to the heavens. Women take longer to reach orgasm, so you need to be patient and stick with it.
If you are put off of oral because your tongue gets tired, it might be a sign that you are doing it wrong. Why not try moving your entire mouth to the pussy instead of just your tongue?
