It will be news to guys ears the world over. A new survey has shown that if you have a TV in your bedroom, then it is likely to improve your sex life. In fact, it can give you twice the action than those who don’t have one!
The survey asked 2,431 people how the TV affects their sex life. Of those surveyed, two thirds firmly believe that their sex life was “healthier” because they had a television in their bedroom.
Multi-Tasking
Believe it of not, 50% are happy because it means they can watch their favourite TV show whilst they are having sex. If I tried that at home with my Mrs, I would probably never get it again!
37% of people think that having a TV in the bedroom is great because it gives you a chance to watch dirty movies whilst they are going at it! That seems to make sense; I just never realised that 37% of people watched porn with their partner.
14% of people said that watching the TV with their partner made them feel closer. To be fair, in a time when more and more couples are doing different things, having a shared interest is most certainly a good thing.
So why else would a TV be good in the bedroom? Maybe it encourages people to stay awake longer, instead of going straight to sleep? The longer you stay up, the longer you have to think ‘oh, what the hell, let’s do it!’
No Convinced
However, I don’t think I will be able to pass this one off at home. How can having a TV in the room not be distracting? In the past I have been getting having sex with a partner upstairs, and have heard a cheer coming downstairs from the football on telly. My first thought is ‘oh, I wonder who scored there?’ If the game was on in the room, I would just be looking over my wife’s or one of the Cork escorts shoulder to see what was going on.
I don’t care what this survey says. I can’t see how having a TV in the bedroom can have a good effect on your sex life.
