The search for the perfect penis
“What does the perfect penis look like?” is a question that has been burning in our minds for years. Well, probably not, but if you’re reading this then you are definitely curious to know about it. The study, recently published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, wanted to know specifically what women between the ages of 16 and 45 think about penises, and just what about them they find the most attractive.
The researchers managed to find 105 women who were happy to talk about cock, and while the aim of the study was to see if “women perceive hypospadias-affect surgically repaired genitals (HASRGs) to be as normal-looking as circumcised genitals”, they also wanted to know “how relevant women consider single aspects of penile appearance to be.”
To put it simply – they wanted to know what it is about dicks that we first notice when you pull your trousers down, and if there is something that you men can do to make them look better to us.
“Take a look at this cock…”
The 105 women were asked to rank the importance of different aspects of the penis, with things such as skin, girth, size, and pubic hair making the list. These women would put the things they felt were the most important at the top, and leave the things that didn’t matter that much to them towards the bottom.
Once this was done, the researchers then sat them down in another room and said something like “take a look at this cock” to them, while showing them different pictures.
Okay, so the researchers will probably have worded it a lot better than this, but it seems that the participants were then shown pictures of willing dicks and asked them to rate how “normal looking” they were.
Once they were done deciding which cocks looked normal and which didn’t to them, they were again asked about the aspects that were the most important to them.
How important is penis appearance?
