Sex and Working For Escort Ireland!

I have to say, one of the first questions I ever got when I started working for Escort Advertising was ‘how do you control yourself looking at those girls?’ Friends, family, everyone though I had definitely landed on my feet. For a hetrosexual guy, this just seemed the perfect place to work. However, nothing is really that simple. For me, Lara and Zoe, the experience has been different between all of us.

My Journey

When I started working on Ad Staff, I thought I was like a kid at a candy shop. There were profiles of fit women everywhere, mostly with their boobs out. What red blooded male could enjoy it any less?

Well, despite still thinking the job was still brilliant, it became less sexy rather quickly Some escorts would send in pictures that were far too revealing (that is all I will say, but you know what I mean) and would lead to me having to use photoshop on all their pictures (a beautifully shaped heart or something, covering their modesty) ; a real ballache of a job. So now instead of thinking ‘phwoar’, I started to think ‘oh, ffs, you know the rules, put it away’. It was all in good humour, but seeing sexy women didn’t really seem quite as sexy anymore.

Now, as a writer, we, as a team, watch a lot of porn, as we need that kind off stuff for our articles. Therefore, I have become really desensitised to that kind of stuff. Beautiful women in the real world are still great, but the days of me sitting round watching adult movies have up and gone.

On the plus side, I now realise how so many people like different things in the bedroom. What I thought were strange fetishes, are in fact common practices in bedrooms all over the place. It really has been an eye opener.

Lara and Escort Advertising

However, Lara has has a slightly different experience.

“Back when I first joined the forums, I didn’t really consider myself closed-minded when it came to sex. I’d heard plenty of conversations from kinky friends about the things that they were into, but talking about sex was something that had never really been a big deal to me. I just thought that sex wasn’t as big a topic as it was.

“Of course, the forum really opened my mind. I could see that sex was a big deal, and understood just how much porn there is out there. I got to learn about the many different kinks that people have, and through talking about sex, I learned even more.

“That said, my own interests haven’t changed. My sex drive is the same, and I know what turns me on in bed. While I know more about the world of BDSM and erotic massage than I did before, I know that they don’t interest me. I still enjoy the vanilla stuff.

“As for being desensitized by porn, that hasn’t happened to me. I am just as shocked now when a surprise nude or sex scene appears on a TV show as I was before. It is just as thrilling. The only difference is that now I understand what might drive people to explore those interests.”

Zoe – Girls Gone Wild

Now, it has to be said, Zoe as you can imagine, has been sent wild by the whole experience of working here.

“I’m not the kind of girl that shies away from watching porn, reading sex books, or sleeping with two guys at once. In fact, I’ve always been open about my sex life with most of my friends, the ones that always ask what guy I’ve met in a club or where the last place I gave a blowjob was.

“But when I started my job as a content writer, I didn’t expect to learn more about the world of sex than I already have done. I remember asking my boss what OWO stands for, and I felt like I should have already known what the abbreviation meant!

“Over the months of writing informative and hilarious articles, I’ve developed a very strong interest in the world of BDSM. Well, I’ve always been intrigued by the fetish, but I didn’t go out of my way to experience what a BDSM session was like until I started writing about it.

“This job, for me, hasn’t particularly increased my sex drive, but the drive to experience ‘exotic’ sex adventures. As my job involves watching porn, the desensitisation of sex overall has never been an issue for me. To be honest, I would be more shocked by a political scandal on a news channel, than a girl rimming a guy on any channel.”

A New World

I am sure that if I asked around the office, you would get completely different answers. What it does go to show is the fact that we are all different. The job is fascinating, but contrary to public perception, we aren’t all degenerates playing with ourselves underneath the table.

In closing, I love my job. I have met many different people from all around the globe (or spoken to them anyway) and they have really added to my life. However, if you had spoken to me five years ago and told me that I would never watch porn in a recreational manner again, I would have thought you were insane.

But as they say, every silver lining has a cloud. Or something like that anyway!
