Most of us know that women fake orgasms. Those screams and moans are sadly, not always genuine. Peoples opinions on why they do this however, have always differed greatly.
Scientists however, may well have come up with the answer, or four answers to be precise. There is Altruistic Deceit, faking orgasm out of concern for a partner’s feelings; Fear and Insecurity, faking orgasm to avoid negative emotions associated with the sexual experience; Elevated Arousal, a woman’s attempt to increase her own arousal through faking orgasm; and Sexual Adjournment, faking orgasm to end sex.
Of all these reasons, it is perhaps unsurprising that the main reason women fake orgasm is them wanting to keep their partner happy.
A Surprising Finding
However, the most interesting finding is that women will often fake it so they enjoy it more themselves. It seems to really get them in the mood. This is echoed by Erin Cooper, co-author of the study.
“Deciding to fake orgasm for this motive may have little to nothing to do with a woman’s partner and his sexual experience.
“I view this strategy as one of the many ‘tools in the toolbox’ women may use to enhance their own sexual experience.”
As a guy, I have no idea as to whether ‘faking it’ actually helps women enjoy it more. It would be a good question to ask one of the Belfast escorts, or any other woman for that matter.
