So Valentines Day is upon us then. Has it really only been a year?
To be fair I have no idea where I stand on it. Part of me (the romantic side) thinks it is a great reason to treat the lady in my life to a slap up meal. And who knows, I may get some action tonight?
The other side of me (the cynical side) sees it as a a load of commercial nonsense which sees partners who have been crappy to the each other all year show affection to each other (and pay healthily for the privilege) only to return to their dodgy relationships tomorrow.
Make Every Day Special
I was always taught by my mum that you should treat your girlfriend every day of the year, not just on Valentines Day. If you are waiting until then to make your partner feel special, then you may not make it to the next one as a couple.
Yet Valentines Day has gained a really prominent place on the calender. And it could be argued that this over-reliance on one day actually damages relationships in general?
What can’t be denied is the fact that society makes people who are single today feel like social outcasts. Whilst the people in relationships are out and about doing ‘romantic’ things, many people are sat at home feeling short of attention from the opposite sex. They shouldn’t feel bad, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. If they haven’t been in a relationship for a while, it may just put an exclamation on the ‘fact’ that they ‘can’t get a partner’.
The Company of an Escort
For anyone feeling left out today, the Cork escorts are here for you. There are so many things you can do together. Appointments range from half and hour to an overnight stay depending on the escort.
At a time many will need a GFE, then the company of one of the escorts in Cork (or any other Irish city for that matter) is priceless. The escorts are the perfect cure for loneliness at a time when some singletons are likely to get very down.
Whatever your plans are for tonight, we really hope you enjoy yourself. It doesn’t matter if you are in a relationship or not; just try and have fun!
