The footage shows a man and a woman, one of whom hasn’t got any pants on, grinding up against each other, on what was later confirmed as Leeson Street.
A Public Spectacle
Well, given the fact that they were putting on a public show, it was really no surprise that they were seen by a number of people, including a child and a group of passing tourists.

This all took place at around 6.45PM in the evening, with the couple seemingly unaware that they may be seen.
Well, Dublin Lord Mayor Christy Burke is unsurprisingly not very impressed, describing the behaviour as abhorrent.
“First of all, this [behaviour] is appalling and disgusting. I find it abhorrent that someone would do such a thing in this city,” he said.
“Hopefully it’s an isolated incident because, thankfully, it’s not something I hear about everyday.”
“I find this kind of behaviour, just as I would an attack or a mugging, totally unacceptable.”A Garda spokesperson told Independent.ie that they had yet to receive any complaints “in relation to an incident on Aungier Street on Monday evening”.
At the time the statement was made, they believed it was in Aungier Street, just in case anyone is confused by that.
In Agreement
I have to say, far from finding that amusing, I actually have to agree with the Mayor. They may not think they are harming anyone, but if I was walking down the street with my kid and saw two people doing that, they guy would be getting a swift kick in the balls.
This is why I find the attacks on the escort industry so strange. What goes on behind closed doors, as long as it is all consensual is really no-ones business. It is only when something is slapped right in front of your face, and is so blatantly offensive that people should really start worrying.
To be fair, it is the ultimate in disrespect for your fellow human beings. Both of them need a bit of a slap (metaphorically of course)
Then again, they could be drunk or drugged up. Maybe that is the reason someone would do something so bloody stupid.
