Random quote:= Nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. [Albert Einstein]

Another random quote:= Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.[John Basil Barnhill]

A person who pays, gives, offers or promises to pay or give a person (including a prostitute) money or any other form of remuneration or consideration for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity with a prostitute shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction—

Money or any other form of renumeration could mean anything, doing their garden, letting them park their car in your garage and bartering your home made fire irons for sex.

You will have to go back to the 1993 sexual offences act (the act that also decriminalised homosexual acts between grown men) to get the definition of a 'prostitute'.

This is a pretty hopeless piece of legislation that is pretty much unpolicable in this country. And their is no decriminalisation of sex workers (victims of prostitution, prostituted women and girls in TORL lingo. )

I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who said the 2nd one first.

There really are lots of great quotes from the US founding fathers.

    Quite likely.

George Bernard Shaw once remarked to someone, “I wish I had said that”.
The persons reply was, “You will George, you will.”

Very hard to know whow was the first person to say anything.

So is the guards going to used the escort as there witness to show the money had exchange or
Is the client going to used the escort as his witness
I think the escort will stay out of it
    So we're in limbo
I am hearing that they could use escorts or do a deal with them to try to convict the client as the escort won't be criminalised anyway, what has the escort got to lose anyway if she didnt know them very well
