Why do you expect it to be policed more strictly than NI?

As i have often said before on this issue i dont expect the Gardai to police this much differently or put much extra resources into it. The chances of a client getting caught
will still be very slim. However there is a but and it is a very big but, if u do happen to be the poor unfortunate that is caught and i only expect there to be a handful it has
the potential to ruin ure life completly. We are forever talking about how the punishment for crimes committed in our justice system is totally inadequate, well this is the dead opposite for a crime which will be considered not much more than a misdemanour the fallout will be horrific ,if ever there was a case of the justice system ruining lives this will be it
    Blatant promotion should be outlawed

Hopefully. But this may be wishful thinking especially if the election is held in the spring. Also it seems likely that the Blue Shirts will be part of the next
government with Mrs Fitz probably still in Justice or worse still leader of our beloved republic! I would think it will pass all stages late in this session or early in the new year. It will then have to be signed into law by the Hobbit who may take his time to examine it and could -although not likely- have it tested in the courts regarding its constitutionality. Best outcome I think is the law coming into operation circa Feb/March 2016. If it manages to get fast tracked then we will all be playing with our toys at home next Christmas.

Will still charge you - let you defend yourself in court - name is already in the press - no smoke without fire -

In reality ,probably less than .1 % of clients will ever get caught . Depends on whether you think the risk is worth it or not . Many still will - indeed , some will like the 'extra danger' - for example , guys still meet up with street sex workers even though one can obviously meet an escort in a plush hotel for the extra thrill of danger. The vast majority of clients will still visit escorts if the QUB research is anyway right (think only 16% said they'd stop) - but clients will be a lot more selective about the escort, location and communication.

Passed? Likely, given the pigheaded bitch that's at the helm. But!... more strictly policed? Very very unlikely if at all.

Jesus, talk about drama. Curse me for trying to inject some logic into the discussion.
