    Your first patient is Howardsteele.
Unfortunately he has serious impulse control problems.
The minute an escort advertises he loses all self discipline and can't control himself.
As Jeckyll turns to Hyde, he turns from Howardsteele to Howard putty and runs as fast as his little legs can take him to the escort's door.
For the love of all that's holy, counsel him and bring him back to normality.

I avoid Northern Ireland and do remember the great times I had in Belfast but its too risky for me now as one mistake or just being plain unlucky is all its takes
A few arrests?? Wait, I have heard of only one to date.... Evidence please.

Was it in the papers. If so could you link?

Wait a second here... I think we are being overly excited and a tad unfair with the OP. To visit an Escort in NI is currently a crime, yet there is still a Web site advertising escort services. How about if there was a web site advertising the sale of stolen cars, would you be happy to let that run?

I think the OP is a mixture of frustration and disdain at the new law up north. It doesn't seem critical of Escorts advertising more am interesting topic for discussion. After all, prior to new laws, all this was legal, EI should advertise away... But now, its illegal... nearly entrapment!... maybe...

The theft of, selling of and purchasing of cars is illegal from start to finish. The selling of sex is not illegal as far as I know. The op was critical of escorts putting clients in jeopardy by putting up adverts. It is a very simplistic point of view to blame the escorts for advertising.

7 Months in and I still have some lovely clients, but then they are privy to my safety methods (and I'm not talking durex!)

When the new law comes into effect in the South will it be the case that both escort and client will be liable to prosecution?

The question of the OP is naive.
Sweden has as many, maybe more, escort ads as it ever had.
If one feels that visiting escorts may be too dangerous for you or it has become too much of a worry, then
in the immortal words of Twink(as once quoted here by Tom Sand)

    ZIP UP YOUR MICKEY!

    (and possibly button your lip).
Are you a man or a mouse?
Is chicken your favourite dish? Does your shadow strike terror into your soul?
If yes, then visiting escorts in future may not be for you and you should desist.
A lifetime of crochet, embroidery and tiddly winks should suffice for you.

To say that escort ads are not desirable, if a few people cannot restrain themselves, is like saying, all supermarkets should be banned, because a minority are serious over eaters.

    Wouldn't worry about it.

A flock of sheep can run through the valley of the shadow of death.

Only one will be picked off.

    Safety in numbers.

Yes was one in Derry, the other was in the paper where the local Councillor was mouthing off, must have a look to see if i can find them.
I don't agree with the law like many other laws in this country but i will not break them, the law is the law and we know you cant win

Why cant when a person asks a straight question that people can reply with straight answers?

@Borrising2, No, just the client, it criminalises the client.

And yet crude as his point is,it is valid, that said I suspect the guys up north would prefer the ladies keep advertising and will risk it,but as the law stands and should the Police decide to enforce it and are given the finance then punters are like fish in a barrel and each and every advert is a risk for the punter, after all that is the point of the law.
