The stated goal is 1 Million increase in ROI population .

In 18 years , off of a current population of 5 million >> what % children , what % elderly ?

I don’t see the indigenous or the already settled and welcomed immigrant population

to be able to produce 1 million babies in that time .

Out of current 5mil population say half are Female ( almost said ‘women’ lol ! ) : 2.5mil .

What % would be of childbearing age ? / what % children , what % elderly / past fertility ?

So the stated Goal is to ‘import’ 1 Million foreign people into a country with a population of 5mil .

What effect will that have on Irish culture ?

Today I was out on the town and took two taxi rides .

Both drivers happened to be Irish ☘️

I broached the subject of the weekend protests with each of them , asking their opinion .

Mind : one of them works two jobs to keep a roof over his and his family’s head .

They both were in agreement with the protests .


I dare say people in lower income areas are more directly exposed to the impact of the

influx of unvetted unscrutinized immigrants ( née refugees ) , hence it is lower income people

that are out on the streets protesting - in lower income neighborhoods .

I think it is rather simplistic And unfair to characterize that whole cohort as lazy work-shy bums .

In fairness to the protesters, 99% of these centres are in poor areas. Why are they not being moved to areas near Dalkey/Foxrock etc? Because this country is so obsessed over looking good to the rest of the world they're allowing people with no IDs in. People who had them when they boarded planes to come and throw them away so they can't be identified and vetted. I'm all for honest immigrants (both my parents are not Irish. 1 is EU 1 is Trumpnation as I've decided to call it). But this bs unsafe thing they're doing of allowing people to throw away IDs and still letting them into the country is very unsafe for people. So knowing people with money won't ever let it fly, they lump them all with lower income/'poor' people who are constantly being scapegoated over issues that are valid. No-one should be let in throw any airport without valid, authentic ID. Into any country.

And before someone comes at me, I've seen it with my own eyes. So have many people coming through arrivals in Dublin airport.
