Punting : My expectations versus reality

Who am I and why am I posting this thread? I am a nobody, an average middle aged man. I'm posting this thread to share my experiences as a punter that's quite recently discovered the world of E.I. I was aware of course that the website existed and throughout my marriage would occasionally have a look but had no intention of meeting anyone. When my marriage ended I arranged an appointment the next day with a certain French lady. I prefer to call escorts ladies as that's what they are to me first and foremost. I was very nervous but she put me at ease and I thoroughly enjoyed my first punt and booked another lady a few days later.

When I first started punting it was to meet beautiful ladies for no strings attached sex and it still is my primary reason. I never in my wildest dreams though expected to meet ladies that were so kind, compassionate, non judgemental and intelligent, I've met women that gave up professional careers to do this, many have degrees or are studying to finish their degree. Some ladies are from privileged backgrounds,some from poor families ,some from wealthy countries and some from poor countries,there is no stereotypical escort. The general population have no idea about sex work and punters, they seem to think all escorts are being forced to do it by criminals or are drug addicts. In my experience this couldn't be further from the truth, all the ladies I've met are independent hard working business women doing their best to earn a living in a society that looks down on them,this saddens me. I'm not going to get into the whole failure of the Nordic model and how it is supposed to help sex workers, it has totally failed any of the ladies I have spoken to about it. Things have gotten worse if anything since it was introduced. I've met dozens of ladies at this stage and a few many times and have gotten to know them quite well, I see our relationship as being a professional one but can't help but care and worry about their safety and future. I don't intend to punt for much longer, health issues might decide that. I'm 43 now,will I live another 43 years? probably not, the last 43 years flew by ,even if I live another 43 years that'll go even quicker, life is very short when you think about it like that. Anyway enough of my ramblings, punters keep on punting, ladies keep up the good work, no pun intended!! Hopefully in the not too distant future your profession will get the recognition and legalised status it deserves, stay safe and look out for one another.
