I didn't say it was a big problem but I do think it funny that it seems to have happened all over at the same time.
I'm sure the ladies wouldn't have planned in advance.

    Now Sophie,
I don't believe that we did not have one person complaining about them going down.
we usually are very creative here with coming up with the things to complain about.

this remind me of my dad and his mother in law (my maternal grandma):

my parents took her to the restaurant one day, to celebrate her birtday, if I remember correctly.

    so here it goes,
everything was wrong, driving too fast / too slow, not the right weather, too cold / too hot
the place itself not good enough
food under cooked / over done,
    etc etc
    you get the picture.

she refused to eat in a strange "strop kinda protest" cause she felt like it, no reason.

    they ordered deserts, and tea...

she did not like the cake. (too sweet, my guess would be)

and my dad asked why she would not touch the tea... she took a breath in but before she had a chance to come up with complaint, my dad answer for her "too wet"???

still makes me giggle, when I try to picture it...

Oh Oh Lu, get over to http://reddit.com/r/JUSTNOMIL , they lap up stories like that. I'm addicted to the drama their MILs create.

    Maybe they're unionised.
All these rail and bus workers probably inspired them.
