United are playing a very different game than the all action display vs Leeds. Slow buildup from the back using Matic to drop deep and play quarter back. They had a good period for the first 20 but then the game was pretty boring. Everton have been poor, sitting back, happy to let United have the ball. But stopped the rot and didn't concede so they'll be happy with the scoreline so far.

Been unimpressed with Tanzube, he is so poor with the ball. Never looks comfortable receiving it or confident with it at feet. Decent defender and athlete, but you need to have more in the locker these days

Spurs have not won any silverware since 2008. If Jose doesn`t deliver a trophy this season the unrest among the supporters will will start all over again.

Everton lacking in the final third today, and lacking in their energy, slow press and too many unforced errors in buildup.

United weren’t much better, until Cavani showed a bit of quality and finished nicely.

Everton in the last ten left lots of space at the back, but even with the extra bodies forward still didn’t threaten much. United finished on the last of a series of counters and Martial finally gets a goal! Been about 20 big chances he’s missed over the past couple games. Might be big for his confidence.

2-0 to United, full time. They move onto the semi-finals
