City win 1-0 to lift the League Cup for the 4th year in a row and the 6th time in 8 years. They also equal Liverpool`s record of 8 League Cup trophy wins. Guardiola also goes level with Brian Clough, Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho with the most trophy wins as a manager of this competition. 1 trophy now in the cabinet and possibly 2 more to come thiis season for City.
Spurs` long wait for a trophy goes on for at least another year and they will now have to try to get a European place for next season through their PL position. Would there have been a different result today f Jose was still in charge of them?

Ref is a relieved man, some farce... Sevilla now in the mix for the top spot, secured CL for next season... They play Real Madrid in couple of weeks, surely they will try to better Betis result from yesterday.
Athletic de Bilbao vs Atletico de Madrid, should be interesting...

The St Johnstone keeper did score. Rangers have been beaten 4-2 in the shootout. There will be no League and Cup double for Gerrard`s team this season and neither they nor Celtic have reached the SFs of the Cup. The Scottish Saints are on course for a Scottish Cup and League Cup double.

Actually the keeper didn`t get the final touch for the late injury time in extra time equaliser but`I`m sure he won`t mind that too much. He made some good saves in the shootout and Rangers are knocked out of the Cup in their own stadium.
