    I got the one for my apartment from Amazon for £180 and it's Hd compatible. I think it is 28" but could be 32", I can't remember. It's been great though and delivery was quick. It might be worth trying there.

    james that is strange cause the walker tvs and saorview boxes are made in turkey and walker is still philips

    philips as a name no but there shit will still be here in another name , but thats not here nore thereits not answering the original question of the poster

    Ok - have always bought Philips in the belief that they were a premium product.

    Apparently, no longer ...

    What brand is best?

    And TV, as a product, is changing - should OP wait for Apple's long awaited TV? Followed by Android type 'totally different' TVs?
