Changes to E-I re Verified Photos / Reviews

How often have we seen... "it is the girl in the photos" in a review... the most vital of all informations from a review... Now an escort is allowed to put up a glossy set of pics, opt out of reviews and generally be fooling Joe Soap for years and nobody will be any the wiser... And don’t use the "but sher you will have the fake picture report"... well bollix to that as that is only effective if the pics used were of Pamela Anderson or if one of us posters here happen to go and visit her... we are the very very small minority of those in punterland...

Giving the girl the chance to get any set of photos verified now makes punting a 50/50 gamble. This is not good for the punter... but is good for the advertiser... the fee payer...

This is with immediate effect, we decided to do it a while back, but IT have put the change through today. We do also have changes in the pipeline to tighten up photo verification, but they will have nothing to do with a lady accepting reviews.

This change may not matter to us members, but it will matter big time to the casual client that is oblivious to the existence of these boards. To see a big green tick on a profile will give the impression that this escort is kosher and endorsed by the site, and I fear many will be duped as a result. It will not matter a fiddlers fart to me, as I and you are clued in, but the average Joe will not know the risks of visiting a so called “verified” escort.

I wonder what the true motives are. It is certainly not to the benefit of the client. But it will certainly encourage more escorts perhaps dubious escorts to advertise, knowing that they will possibly increase business with that nice green endorsement… hence increasing revenue for the site.

It may also help those escorts with a string of bad reviews to reinvent themselves and make a new start with a lovely “verified” status…To remove the controls of reviewing is disastrous to the punter imo… There will be sizeable more abuse than there is already…

Anybody would have thought Patricia never mentioned that there will be a 'tighten up' on the verification process.

Just to make the point that we DO NOT ENDORSE escorts, we can only give an indication of how accuraye theor photos match their verification photo by ticking/crossing the profiles. This process was changed because there are (what some of you consider as) genuine escorts that don't want to verify their photos but wish to accept reviews.

As Patricia said, if it doesn't work, we will talk again. I don't see how this is about E-I making money? Surely if this opens up the abuse to 'endorse' profiles from fake reviewers, it would decrease the number of new profiles being created?

You are correct. This is certainly not a pro-punter measure but to be fair E-I have made it perfectly clear that the interests of the escorts are superior to ours, as the ladies are their clients. It is company policy.

It will however be interesting to see which escorts opt out. I think it will be less than perhaps feared, as in my experience most good escorts believe the review system works to their advantage. After all, guys who review and who have had an enjoyable booking are only too delighted ( if the system allows ) to leave a positive review extolling the virtues of the lady.

As I posted earlier it is incumbant on management here to ensure the integrity of the verification process. This is paramount. After that, it is just down to whether joe public is happy to book escorts who have no reviews. He should also be able to identify easily from the profile that the lady herself has deliberately opted out of the review process.

I have never and will never see a lady that doesn't allow reviews as personally I rely on reviews, especially from "trusted" posters, to aid my decision making process.

I think that this decision is ok as long as the verification process is robust enough to spot the fakes..........I personally don't think that this is the case as there seems to be more fake profiles/reports than ever before!

I agree with Dave… the verified photo system only works accompanied by the review system. You cannot have an effective verification system without the odd review to back it up.

What makes this site special and why I use it is the feedback from other members and the fact that I have so far been always able to trust the photos that are verified and follow that up with reviews given. Which has always meant that when the door opens I see who I expected. In 30 different visits I have had only 1 bad one but it was still the girl in the photos.
Used another site once photo and service did not match ad and hence never used again.
It is of upmost importance that this site strive to retain all methods available to weed out dodgy operaters.
I hope this continues because if I cannot trust pictures or access reviews I most likely will cease my activities in a major way.

What if initially the profile was set up with genuine home made photos and then handed over to another ?

This could have been done before the change Dave, infact it may have even been worse for the punter back then.

Seeing as a genuine escort could have come along, verified photo's and a few good reviews here and there, and then hands her profile over to someone else.

I personally cannot see a way of eliminating this entirely.

Just because we are making it possible for an escort to opt of of reviews while remaining verified, does not mean every escort on the site will. I say, give it time and see how it progresses, I am sure there will still be more than enough beauties around that match your criteria JC
