Speaking of Tom Hardy, went to see Warrior last night.
With a poster showing 2 buff semi naked men and it being seemingly about mixed martial arts I originally wasn't interested.
But the reviews were bigging it up.
Well fuck me, if it isn't the best film I've seen since Inception.
It's absolutely brilliant.
Tom Hardy is amazing in it. He's like a young Brando or DeNiro.
I can see this winning oscars for best movie, best director, best actor ( with both lead actors nominated, other is Joel Edgerton) , best supporting actor for Nick Nolte ( absolute shoe in ) .
It is probably unnecessary for me to say I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Part of the beauty of it was I had low expectations, so sorry if this review fucks that up for you
