My PS3 freezes every now and then! There just too bloody complicated these days, aren't they! Very annoying when playing Final Fantasy XIII and after battling a big boss for an hour, the bloody thing crashes!

PS3 is more difficult to program for, but also a better console if programmed for correctly. Most of these freezes is because of memory leaks, which seem to be troubling the developers some on the PS3. Especially since you don't see it as much on the other consoles.

Speaking of 'God' games, I really enjoyed playing Civilisation.

On the back of this thread decided to give the play station and newer games a try (haven't been near a console in over 6 years!!!). Went to a relatives house said to the young lad stick on that play station and I'll give ya a game. well holy fuck I had me arse handed to me by a 8 year old on a football game beat me 9 - 2. Mario kart I think it was, might as well have been driving in reverse. And some beat em up he was just toying with me. Crazy whooped at everything and he was laughing at me so I gave him a kick in the hole and told his ma!!!! In the end that exercise cost me a tenner

I used to be deadly at all these games what happened?????

Right lets see, started off on the Atari, then got my C64, Thought I was great till teh fucker down the road got an Amiga, then got the NES, ah the joy , Then I believe I got the SNES , ah teh memories kicking teh shite out of my friends in Steet Fighter comps
Then A PS 1 then PS 2. Then I got the 360, which I ended up giving to my borther and taking his WII (great fun when your drunk)
and inbetween I think I may have purchased a PC along the way

Anyway the good old days when playing with the C 64 you could load a game in teh morning go our and have a kick about and come home a few hours later and it would have just finished loading. And taping games off teh old double deck cassette recorder.
    good old times

Where teh best graphics were when they introduced a circle rather than a square

Anyone ever play a game on teh c64 called microdot. Brilliant game very addictive

I don't recall that one, fella... must of played it somewhere down the line!

As a kid, I used to love the old coin-ops like Star Wars where you could sit in a booth like you were in a space ship! I played Outrun in a real Ferrari shell with a monitor and pretended the blonde girl in the seat of the car in the game was really next to me! Haha!
