I don't know much about agencies in Ireland, I only heard about one bad one.
Now regarding girls with real pimps, maybe some signs such as cheap prices with any and every favourites available, no professional pictures, opt out reviews. Or maybe the girl's behaviour, attitude.
This is literally the definition of brothel keeping which is against the law and one of the first charges pressed in trafficking operations.

Read it back - receptionist, taking bookings for a fee/commission, etc most likely for someone who has no English. We've seen such people arrested many times and they often claim they are helping with translations, for a fee - they all see jail regardless as this is brothel keeping.
