I was wondering about this actually. I assumed a person listing as TV was basically just dressing the part, and most are. But I've seen a few with full breasts and feminisation surgeries, surely that can't be considered a TV? I mean, I thought these days calling a TS a TV was "transphobic", yet here they are doing it themselves?!

I think the categories of TV and TS on EI are based on the name on the identity document. If the name is male, then TV. If female, then TS.

Ts suffer from body dysmorphia, tv don't. Tv don't want to identify as or be women/ don't have issues with their peens. Putting them under the same umbrella doesn't work as it undermines TS peoples' struggle.

But I dunno the criteria here to advertise as TS. But they could be genuine TV and just like looking feminine but don't wanna be a woman. So body dysmorphia is what separates them. One believes they were born in the wrong body the other doesn't. So I think TV would be more lady boy or maybe androgynous would fit better. But they're happy with their 'tools'.
