What Actually Happened Yesterday :(

Just read the Independent which gives the horrific details of what actually happened yesterday.

This subhuman specifically targeted the 5 year year old girl and stabbed her in the NECK before the crèche worker intervened and she herself suffered multiple stab wound. The Brazilian national and several others then intervened to apprehend the man.

I just can’t get my head around how someone could take a knife to an innocent little child, and 2 other children also.

The picture on the front of the Independent is something I could never even fathom I would see in the heart of our Capital, a bus and a patrol car burning beside the Daniel O Connell monument.

It is amazing how most of the papers focused on the riot's for their main story ignoring what happened to the poor children and their teacher. Goes to show where the priorities are in this shithole country

Normal sane people just can't comprehend these acts. You, me and 99.9% of people will never be able to explain wtf he was thinking.

He got mental health assistance. They know he done it. Yet his name is still not out. It's like, they want what happened yesterday to keep happening.

The poor child is still fighting for her life. Who slashes a child's throat? The teacher is in critical condition but recovering.


Fact still remains, THEY HAVE THE GUY WHO DONE IT AND STILL NOTHING!!!

The part I don't get is why did people protect him, when they had him down they should have kicked him up and down the street.

Because they are better people than you or I Bruce, I would have wanted to do the same thing, but the people who surrounded him to let the Gardai deal with did the right thing.

But he did get a hiding apparently, there’s photos on

I totally get your anger but from what I understand he is still in hospital reviving treatment. We are a civilised, democratic society so his medical care comes first (unlike the treatment he would receive in his country of birth) he will be arrested when fit for discharge.

It is unusual that his name hadn’t been released but I can only imagine that this is at the request of the Garda Commissioner due to the fact that we know his name isn’t going to be “Paddy Murphy”, verifying his name and country of birth could be a excuse for more of what happened last night.
