Cash used to be king for me until my wallet was robbed with a lot of cash in it while I was in Dundrum shopping centre a few years ago. Now I use revoult instead of carrying cash. Should I ever have my wallet stolen again or lose it, the only money I'll lose is the first payment the person who has it spends as I will get a notification on my phone and I can cancel the card straight away.

Covid fastracked the cashless stuff. We are getting very close to zero cash these days.

At home, i use card mostly. If traveling i will withdraw cash before i go, but will admit lately to being tempted to using revlout when traveling.
