There are cases and cases! Sexual exploitation and human trafficking for sexual purposes exist!
    It's a fact!
A close friend went through this situation years ago!
I feel so sorry for these women and I hope they get the help they need!
But the media tends to only show one side of the story and puts us all on the same level!
As if all escorts were in the same deplorable situation!
They don't show women who really work freely and spontaneously!
Because that doesn't get an audience!
And This only helps to increase the negative stigma we carry!

Ruhama is first and foremost a commercial organisation.

Ruhama is first and foremost a moneymaking racket.

So how much did they spend on "administration" and how little did they spend on actually helping anyone this year?

My understanding is that Ruhama has been awarded on occasion by the courts money confiscated from sex workers even where it was stated in court that they were voluntarily sex workers!
And this money was not necessarily even from sex work, it may have been their life savings!
What do you call somebody who makes money off sex workers when it's not taken from them by choice?
    Ride them on the beaches!

Okay how do we get rid of these puritans and get balance and common sense. FF/FG are essentially the same party right now. What about Sinn Fein? I know everyone laughs them off for every political issue but they never had a chance in government.
Would they have more common sense to deal with this issue?

This Ruhama crowd seem like a puritanical cult. I’d also like to know the etymology of that name. Doesn’t exactly sound Gaelic, lets be honest.

Also if you take their figures at face value, it is living proof that the anti sex worker law has been a disastrous failure!

It is extremely worrying in many respects that our luvlee MOJ presented this report!

I certainly never recall any other 'charity' having their report presented by a Government Minister!
    Ride them on the beaches!
