Default The difficulty using hotels for escorts

I know I'm retired, but I thought this information would be useful for the members of the community living in and about the Northwest and escorts who work out of hotels there.

Hotels have been the subject of many threads. This week, an escort who is a good friend of mine had a rude awakening about working in hotels. She has worked from a well known, city hotel, in Derry for years without any issues. This city hotel has been the venue for many a pleasant morning for me in Derry and holds great memories.

The escort in question and her friend checked in separately. The hotel placed them in different floors, in rooms opposite the lifts. These rooms were covered by CCTV outside the lifts.

My friends colleague saw one client for a 30 min appointment. Directly after the appointment the manager knocked on her door and told her to leave, otherwise he would call the police. The hotel kept all the ladies money, no refund was offered for the remaining nights she had booked.

My escort friend contacted me in a very difficult and stressful position to ask my advice. She had seen no clients as yet, but had a 30min booking in one hour. She knew that the same fate was going to happen to her once she saw her client.

My advice was not to see the client. She knew that she would have to leave the hotel anyway. I told her it would be better for her to leave on her own terms and avoid the humiliation of being asked to get out. She had asked twice for a change of room, but the hotel refused, they had placed these ladies where they could monitor them with CCTV and funneled them into a trap.

As my friend had not seen any clients yet, technically she was just another guest until the hotel could prove otherwise. I told her to go to the reception and ask for her money back because the room was older, tired and shabby. I also told her to say she was a light sleeper and that the noise from foot traffic using the lifts would keep her awake all night. I further advised her that if they accused her of working as an escort to become angry, stand her ground and tell they how dare they accuse her. The important thing was to get out with a refund.

My escort friend took my advice and the manager gave her full refund and checked her out. The hotel needed evidence and without this they couldn't prove that she was working from their premises as an escort. However, they did let her know that they were monitoring the website and that her friend had been asked to leave. My friend just told them she didn't know what they were talking about and insisted on a full refund; fair play to her for standing her group and following through.

I worked for years in conflict and I was always trained to do the unexpected because it threw people off, to attack instead of runt and to withdraw out of a situation on my terms while staying in control of the environment around me. This is exactly what my friend did, the hotel never expected her to have the balls to walk up to the front desk and demand a refund; this threw them off guard.

I have heard that the city hotel in Derry that I am writing about has done this before to escorts. They have asked them to leave without refunding the money for the other nights they had booked that week.

So what do you think, are hotels still safe to visit escorts in, this city hotel in Derry certainly seems burned as a location for meeting ladies.

Perhaps, someone can advise escort their legal rights are if they are asked to leave a hotel; does the hotel have the right to keep all their money, or should the hotel refund the escort for other nights they had booked?

The city hotel I'm writing about was a great spot, but it seems that the management are now monitoring the website which is a real shame.

Perhaps, I have retired at just the right time lol. If anyone is interested I'm still loving my new way of life and being in a relationship. I have known this lady for 26 years and I have seen a whole new firey side to her that I didn't know existed.

So guys and girls if you are going to use hotels in the city say frosty and keep your head on a swivel because you never know who is watching you on CCTV lol!
While I was active I always preferred a quiet apartment to hotels and with this final thread I respectfully rest my case and say goodbye.

Sorry to hear about those two ladies issues, one of the risks of hotel based escorts I guess but still a shitty experience.
I’d have to disagree with you on how safe/discreet a location it was, only visited it twice in 5 years and when you consider that I prefer hotels and it’s the nearest city to me, I think that tells it own tale.
It was always fairly obvious to me that hotel management were at the very least aware of escorts basing themselves there and possibly were more involved than that.
A wide foyer with no shortage of staff eyeballing anyone coming through the door, not the usual half glance I’ve received in other hotels, hard to explain but it just had a bad vibe about it.
There was a side entrance but I’m sure that was monitored as well, anyway I rapidly lost interest in it as a venue, there are at least 3 better hotel locations in the city so I just avoided it completely.

If they use the same hotel, usually travel together, show their faces in ads/escortsfans, pay in cash - then the risks are greater. Worse of they've used that hotel before and do 30 min sessions/take towels from house keeping. And the walls in hotels are not soundproof. Imo, hotels are for long bookings only, preferably after 4pm and before 6am (because housekeeping are all knowing and all seeing) and from ads with face cropped out. Loads of free Internet apps to unblur faces easily. And hotels, you get burned if you don't leave a big tip for cleaners daily. Ciz they will report you, having to clean up after you daily without being compensated.

All great points, the face pics on their advertisement is the really obvious one , in a small city like Derry, I mean c’mon, wouldn’t take even the dumbest hotel manager long to spot them.
I’ve visited hotels for years, usually the same escorts and they’ve had zero issues, low volume generally means no problems, face pics are just asking for trouble theses days, it’s no accident that they’ve avoided coming to the attention of management, they have a system that works and they stick to it, I’ve total confidence in them because they place a value on discretion, it’s not rocket science just common sense

I’m so Sorry to hear that this happens to those ladies. I agree with Amy, where they face out on the website?

I’ve said it here before, I always work from hotels and in all my years of working, thank God in heaven I have never been found out, I would never a chance working a hotel where there are cameras in the room corridors. The hotels I work from usually the cameras are just focused at the lifts.

I always always book my room for two people, okay you have to pay that bit extra if you are including breakfast, I’ve never ever been asked where the other person is on check in but if I ever was I’d just say my partner is arriving later. The reason I book for two people is because the cleaners have a list of how many people is in every room, And the name the room is booked under, so that would cover if they were to see a man coming or going from the room.

As for legal rights into getting her money back, personally I would be so embarrassed I wouldn’t even ask, I would just leave quietly, but I would imagine if she was to protest they would just threaten to call the cops, No one wants that hassle, also hotels have a policy of no guests allowed in your room, so technically she has broken hotel rules.

Thanks for the post Joe, As many people had recommended that hotel to me for work should I visit Derry.

Sorry to hear that man, hope the 2 ladies aren't too badly shaken up because of this incident.

Personally I've only ever encountered one awkward situation while visiting hotels over the years. I was putting my clothes on and chatting to the escort when a cleaner just opened the door and walked right in. Didn't knock or anything. If the cleaner came in like 5 minutes earlier, she would've had front row seats for the big finish (or probably interrupted it)

JOe as always you'll receive or read smug responses like tldr but also ignoring the real question. The Hotel knew, was there a rat? is my instinctive reply. And because I'm a Nordie at heart who?

Not sure what “smug” responses you’re on about but there was no need of a rat, they had face pics on their advert, hotel managers scan this site as part of their job, even they can add 2 and 2 and come up with the correct answer, they really only had themselves to blame

I love hotels.. Clean, warm showers working etc etc. There's a hotel in Sligo where you can get the lift straight from the car park to the floor of your choice. Escorts love it and ask clients to use it . I never do. It's an absolute giveaway to what you are doing. What person would walk past 2 entrances to the hotel to go down to a carpark to get a lift. I can picture security watching Mr X getting the lift at 3 pm to the 4th floor and coming back down at 3.30 and lo and behold here's another single male getting the lift to the same floor!!!! I walk in the front door, mingle, maybe read for a while in the foyer, cup of coffee take the lift, sometimes the stairs and proceed to the room. Sometimes I get the lift to a different floor and take the stairs for the last bit. It's all good fun... Better escorts tend to use hotels. I hate walking around looking for an apartment, trying to figure what door the escort means,
