Tragedy in Clonmel :(

My heart is broken to read about the 4 young people on their way to Leaving Cert celebrations killed in a car crash in Clonmel. God, life can be so cruel sometimes, it's just unthinkable, such a happy occasion and their whole lives ahead of them.

I'm big into current affairs but times like this I do think I'm as well to keep away from the news sometimes, things like this just break my heart. I couldnt even read about the Lucy Letby case in the UK, I just read about the sentencing and commentary after.

No way. Oh that boils my blood, they are someones children, someones loved ones, peoples lives are now ruined and fcukers sharing photos for morbid entertainment oh its sickening!!!!!! Someone actually went to the effort of sending a drone over to take photos, karma will get them!

Haven’t been online coz 99% of it enrages or depresses me. The poor souls. After the 2 dying on their way to their Debs, I just stopped. May they rest in peace.

Car went into a tree and 2 of them died , one of their friends got out of the car 5 minutes before the crash

Less than 10 years ago, this country had celebrities holidaying here because no one would approach them at all especially if they had their kids with them. People intervened when fights started. If people came across a drunk girl with a guy following her, they’d all walk her home or make sure she got home safely. Now… people are more concerned with being more American and recording and posting shite on socials without a thought for anyone else.

Less than 10 years ago, this country had celebrities holidaying here because no one would approach them at all especially if they had their kids with them. People intervened when fights started. If people came across a drunk girl with a guy following her, they’d all walk her home or make sure she got home safely. So true, people getting attacked or robbed, everyone starts filming, but to think some lowlife thought "oooh fatal car crash, I'll get pics for likes" off the back of unthinkable tragedy wtf is wrong with some people, where is basic empathy and human kindness?!?!?!

My eldest went out last night to celebrate, the fear is always in the back of your mind until they get home, can’t even begin to imagine how devastated these families must be

The worst I’ve heard in that regard was the young lad killed off a jet ski on Lough Derg and some ghoul video’d it and put it up on social media. How to get inside the mind of such a person?
