    Question Booking cancellation fee

    Hi everyone!

Let's talk about booking cancellation fee.

I am all ears for your opinions…

When and how much should the client pay the cancellation fee? Or shouldn't he pay at all? Is it enough to text "iam sorry i can't make it"?

I think time is an important factor in this question.
Last minute cancellation he should offer to pay full amount and I think the escort should say it's okay if you send me half the fee.
Up to three hours before time or even the day before he should offer to send fifty or bring a nice gift next time he visits.

That is assuming this is a regular client and regular escort.
A spur of the moment call me half hour before babe scenario I think he can call half an hour before to cancel with no cancellation fee needed

I would say it's hard to get him to pay cancellation fee when it's a cash business.

Is he going to call to apartment and pay a cancellation fee when he is cancelling in the first place? Sure he might as well go through with booking if that was the case .

I think if he was genuine...maybe just rearranging is the way to go.
If he's not a serious client who wastes your time well really do you think that guy is going to pay a cancellation fee?

I think you know he's not.

Different perhaps if it was a revolute situation and you wanted a deposit, but that will never be me or a lot of guys. Is it the future? I'd be out.

I pride myself in not letting girls down although I have been let down many times by the girl. In saying that it mostly works out fine both ways. Only one girl messed a booking up this year for me. That's not too bad at all.

Depends. Is it last minute cancellation from a regular? Like they confirmed and didn't show up? For me, I don't rebook any no shows. Even if it was someone who came to me weekly. It takes 1 minute to cancel an appointment.

If EI allowed us to advertise for deposits, personally, from new clients I think €10/each half hour is fair for incall.
Nuru I barely book without deposit because I've to mix the gel before hand and that shite expensive as fuck and once heated, can't really be reheated. But we're no longer allowed to say we take deposits anymore.

What crazy person cancelled on you??

I think it depends on a few things. Time frame being the main one. A few days notice will probly cause no issues. Last minute is an entirely different story, payment should be offered imo but at the same time maybe something genuine happened. Its a hard one to call.

I myself would offer payment. Its me thats messed up and well time is money. Its the right thing to do.

Im not sure how well it would work to charge a cancellation fee, how do you guarantee you'll ever see that money? Sure a regular will probly bring it next time, but id imagine most regulars would not cancel.
A deposit makes more sense, no show, you keep it, but that rubs a lot on here the wrong way. So i dont know.

You are an inexperienced lad. Well meaning.

I bring cash in my wallet...a lot sometimes. I can't pay a deposit. I pay when I'm there.

Girls are used to being let down by wasters... nature of the beast. Frustrating for them I know, but frustration goes both ways. I've had plenty of calls ring out after making a solid booking and driving to an area. Then that sinking feeling. I accept it. Why I like regulars.

I understand Amy's point about nuru gel and so on. A little different there.

Ultimately with it being illegal for men in this country and being a cash business it's very difficult to see a cancellation fee working out for girls. They are used to it. It's the equivalent of a guy being double booked.

Think she meant for regulars regarding cancellation fee maybe? Like next time he comes he pays the extra fee. Personally I don't believe in this. Rl happens, you might be on your way and HAVE to cancel. If he's a flake then that's different. Business is hard that some take flaky clients who show up half the time. I'm petty and am very good at self sabotage. I'd rather not make mo ey than be taken for a ride. But as long as someone cancels and I'm not left waiting around for them... shite happens.

I'm not totally against the concept of cancellation fees as I can understand that cancellations can lead to loss of income, especially if the cancellation is last minute. It would depend also if the client had a genuine reason or not but a last minute change of heart isn't a valid excuse. For me imposing a cancellation fee would depend on a few factors:

Whether there is a valid reason or not (family situation arising, illness, work schedules changing etc)
How much notice is given giving you time to get a replacement booking)
If the client is a regular who doesn't usually cancel or if it is someone who makes a habit of making appointments and then cancelling

There is also the question of how would you collect a cancellation fee as the nature of the business would discourage clients paying electronically to avoid leaving a trail. Also how much to charge is another issue. It certainly raises a lot of interesting questions.

Not sure if you're talking to me?

I am a regular regular so certainly I'm not expecting any fee as any proper regular of mine makes serious money and I usually commit to one so a lot of money.
Then again I don't let girls down for bookings so I'm the wrong man to talk here as I'll see it from my perspective.

I suppose if I somehow let her down badly like slept out hungover or something yeah I guess if she was ready and waiting I would look after a regular the next time I saw her, but honestly I'd probably just pay for more time and make up that way.
Again this doesn't happen with myself so I don't know.

If it's a last minute cancellation
Then yes 100% I personally believe a fee should be offered

But this could only realistically be offered with/to a regular in an attempt to keep a good respectful arrangement/relationship

I've never broken a date but if I had to at the very last minute I would personally feel obligated to offer to pay for the time booked and finance lost

But on the other hand Michelle?

Should an Escort compensate a regular client if she had to cancel at the last minute??

    Again I personally believe Yes!!
Maybe not in monetary terms but possibly with additional time on the next visit?

I'm not talking double booking because that's a totally different story and wholly unacceptable!!
Double booking I'm gone for good before the dust settles!!

    There's always a balance
    with balance there's respect

a regular will always show a higher degree of respect, goes without saying but should go both ways!?
