Hi Sofia,
Thanks for your reply, I can see no issues with advertising as a "transgender woman", but there is an issue with advertising as a biologically born woman. I have talked to transgender people and they celebrate their transformation, they are not afraid to put it out there and be open.
The elephant in the room is it's totally fine with the person identifying as a woman, however due the imitate nature of their work it could be argued that pos-op, transgender, escorts, who don't disclose this fact are deceiving heterosexual clients into committing, what they could perceive as a homosexual act. This in turn has a host of ramifications and at the very least could be considered as false advertising and deception with the internet to acquire profit. If the law was different and it was not illegal to buy sex, this could lead to ligation from the aggrieved party, who in my opinion can be considered victims.
I'm interested, you quoted Irish law. This is a crossborder advertising platform, the North of Ireland falls under UK legal jurisdiction, is this law the same in the UK as well as Ireland?
Sofia thanks for your help, I'm not trying to be an ass, I got on really well with your former colleague Sav. I am merely trying to raise the concerns and intense feelings surrounding this debate from a client's point of view by highlighting the issues. While it may not be illegal for post-op, trans. escorts to advertise as woman, there is a strong argument that it is not best practice and EI also has a duty of care to protect clients as well as advertiser's.
Kind regards, Joe

Hi,
I think it is a very interesting topic to be discussed.
I have looked it up and in 2004 he UK Parliament passed the Gender Recognition Act 2004. "The Gender Recognition Act 2004 (GRA) enables transgender adults to apply to the Gender Recognition Panel to receive a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC). Successful applicants, who are granted a full GRC, are, from the date of issue, considered in law to be of their acquired gender."
Exactly. They can identify as their gender. Male/female is NOT a gender though. The genders are woman, man, non binary. That's it. Female means the egg was fertilised by a female SEX sperm. Male means the egg was fertilised by a male SEX sperms. So advertising as a female escort is false advertising. You can change it to ts woman, ts man. Or change it to woman/man then give the option to then further select female/male/ts.

Happened me too when I was in Bolton years ago, she looks very feminine and when I paid she told me to lie on the bed and would switch of the lights. Now I know why
Yes she duped me, corrupted me and made me her wee bitch.

Agreed! It is an absurd interpretation of the laws and political correctness to allow it.
I always thought there was no chance of me being taken in, at least once I was in a room with them, but it is now clear that at least one escort has deceived dozens of hetero men.

Would something like that not be akin to sexual assault? Using deceit to get someone into bed? The definition is rape by deception, luring someone in a sexual encounter that they would not do otherwise
