I got a new Pup nine weeks ago from a Rescue Centre. He and my Cat who was dumped outside my house seven years ago as five week old kitten are all I have. I spent over €2000 in vet bills trying to save my previous Dog.

Unfortunately, many of the these beautiful and innocent animals are mistreated and abandon.

If it comes to the case in which you no longer want the pet, or you can't take care of it for any reasons, then don't be a selfish asshole and abandon it or take it to a shelter.

The best thing to do is to ask around to people you may know, maybe even put it an advert.
There will always be somebody who will take care of it.

Always remember that a dog is for life, not just for Christmas.

She went in for an operation on Tuesday and is slowly recovering. Now just to hope the tumour doesn't come back.
Well done and fair play for saving her.

As a rule I prefer the company of dogs to a lot of people. The love and loyalty you get from them is totally unconditional. I have a little westie that keeps me on my toes and never fails to put a smile on my face. Where I live more people know her name than mine.

I'm the same with animals. I'm the person at parties you'll see playing with the cat/dog

Almost everyone I know who has pets has adopted rather than shopping. My sister's previous dog was one which had been used for breeding and then dumped at a rescue when she'd fulfilled her use She was so timid and scared at first, and with the love we all showed her, she came out of her shell. You wouldn't have recognised her as the same dog!

........and remember folks, try and re home. All the shelters around the country are full of every type of dog (and cats) waiting for their forever home. Also, pick a breed that suits your lifestyle. But above all, ENJOY.

Actually theres posters all over the place about going vegan. Ya know? you take the baby away from its mother if you drink milk. I was taken away from my mother and i wasnt even a day old ffs, can t remember anyone sticking posters about it up. Ok so i go vegen and im walking along eating my orange. big fuckin poster up, oh i need a tree, plz dont take me away from my tree. FFS what about air? Is it ok to take that? Maybe some poor bastard is dying on the road when i go outside and i steal his last gasp of fresh clean air.
