So on the one hand you can see where that's a decent idea, although I get the feeling like most things half the excitement about screwballs wanting it is the fact is dangerous AND now illegal .

You must be on ze list, and forever have a government record? Great idea if it wasn't for the stigma, unless Germany is more open to sex workers I don't know, their porn is pretty fucken mental.

The registration is nothing new. There is little or no stigma attached to being registered as a sex worker, depending on your family but I suppose, like in most western countries, the natives are far less than the other nationalities working in this field. It's not at all a bad thing being in the system, it's just like any other job: pay tax, contribute to pension schemes, being able to prove you're legit etc.

In fact, the mentality is quite open minded. Sometimes too open minded, as the dole office even suggests it to unemplyed women
