I disagree. I could name a couple of country and coastal roads which are breath talking.
And you can also drive them at speed, Its 70 out most country roads and if you like bike riding thats a plus.
The Antrim coast would be my favourite.

Oh don't get me wrong there's plenty of great roads and scenery about the place, Torr Head being one of my favourites. But when you head up the M2 hill and get by the the turn off for Mallusk there's few roads give you the same uplifting feeling because you know you're officially out of 'Bulfaast' and you can comfortably unlock the doors again.
