I see your point, but without looking it up, I think we're the third most obese country in Europe and I find it easy to believe. I suppose the fact we rarely see sunshine does help preserve our looks longer than a lot of countries which actually have a summer.
I am half joking on this thread but it's those independent women with good careers you speak of that I was referring to. Not someone who's working a 40hr week in McDonald on a zero hours contract and who gains twenty pounds after 3 months. That's not really their fault.
I admire their independence but not really their priorities, Come the weekend, sit at a make up counter in Brown Thomas or somewhere, beat themselves into a Herve Leger bandage dress a size too small and totter on some platform heels to give their legs some length.
