I didn't think there was a fine on the spot (yet), it's just listed as "Up to £1000 fine and 1 year custodial"

How could they file a case if the escort deny that he was her client? Just because the person work as an escort doesn't mean he/she don't have any male friends where he/she met at the bars / shopping mall / dating sites or whereever and bring the partner home. They can't fine someone on the spot hun. There must be some procedure to be done before they can convict someone for purchasing sexual services, right? How about massage? I do wonder if massage service is considered as sexual service as well

The authorities better focus on the pimps and trafficking rather than us the independent ones. Forcing someone for sexual intercourse is illegal but exchanging gifts or cash for sex should not be illegal and legal only when it is practiced in private between 2 consenting adults. So the escort confession is the biggest evidence in this case.

In the other hand, buying sex off the street would be a different story.

8 clients a day???!!! now i come and ask u where u came from with this idea as escorts see 8 clients a day when all ladies i know who charge decent rates have 1-2 clients or sometimes noone a day... guess u talking about girls who charge 50 euro.. then might be true..

In the hand of an expert these estimates can be very accurate, but not when you apply such bias and your own agenda.

They claimed my copied CD 'empire' in high school was worth near £50k because of the amount of discs they seized. Yeah, right, like I was able to sell a copied music CD with no box/covers at school for £14.99, get fucked.

They ended up dropping it when it became apparent no adult was behind it and I was only 15 - and when the stupid bastards returned my PC gear they also gave me back the big evidence bag full of CDs ready to sell - the bag was even marked for destruction and the morons handed it back to me (They even delivered it back to me because they got pressure for lifting an innocent school wains computer in exam season, dumb cunts!!)
