This law will criminalise clients but the people it will impact are escorts and EI. It is probably not a popular opinion but I think they should fund her campaign. If EI donated a weeks worth of their advertising revenue then that would fund most of it.
maybe some clients with a desperate need to be liked or seen as nice guys will also contribute but personally I have other causes and bills to pay.

I'm sure it would be a popular opinion and several others have voiced that opinion. The problem is that this site is not well thought of politically and this is a political campaign so in a way Laura needs to distance herself from any outside influence that could set back her Independence as a sex worker and representing lawfully working sex workers. I think it would be amazing if they could make an anonymous donation the same way everyone else has and i don't think there is any need for them to make a big declaration about it.

Are EI making a contribution?
Please EI make a discrete decent contribution for fucking sake - the right to consent must be kept!

Justin Treaudeau's Liberal Party victory over the sex workers haters in the Election a few days ago, should be of help as they are committed to getting rid of Canada's insane version of this law, passed last November by Nutters!
AFAIK, Canada is a common law based country as is ours!

Spot on Kate - inevitably , the 'funded by pimps, traffickers & johns' mantra will start (conveniently ignoring feminist support) once proceedings will begin......
From the campaign that covers up negative Swedish police reports to mislead.
Said it before,i'll say it again , TORL is this generations RCC covering up child abuse.

Totally agree E-I should lead by example and put a large chunk of their money to fund this, Ireland is expensive for Escorts and guys have enough bills to pay.I don't mind giving something but let E-I who are making a fortune in Ireland and who benefit most do the most.

Marc Bosman was the Belgian footballer who brought a landmark case to Europe opening up freedom of movement and contracts for professional soccer players! He 'won'! This benefited footballers hugely to such an extent that lads who cannot really even kick a ball became multi millionaires, Marc Bosman got virtually nothing from it and last heard, he was back living with his mammy!
So if you are likely to benefit from Laura's hard work and that of her team, whether you are a client. sex worker or affected sane 3rd party, dig deep!

In fairness Genie , if fellas have enough money to pay for an appointment they surely have enough to make a donation The vast vast majority of clients dont bother with the message board ,merely visiting the site to see which escorts are in town at the moment so won't have any real interest in making a donation.
Realistically , if most online posters made a reasonable donation (say €50 - the price of a 15 min session) , then Laura's campaign wouldn't have to be too concerned about raising money.
