I'd hand it in, as that could be for a lot of people the difference between feeding their kids tonight or not. So many people are below poverty line in this country - that what could be a low amount to some can make the world of difference to others.

I think there was no woman, and customer service just took pity on you,as a woman walking backwards retracing her steps in a supermarket isn't great for business like

Last night i popped out to local Supermarket to pick up a few things ,
I had 150 Euro in my hand along with my phone ,
Whilst I was in the que to pay i realized I no longer had the cash in my hand
I retraced my steps but it had gone .
I was gutted and about to leave when I thought id just check with customer service see if anyone had handed it in , not for one minute did i think anyone would of .
And low and behold some lovely lady had handed it in
I left the lovely lady a gift
My question is would you hand it in honestly ?

No I would hand it in and get a receipt for it. You would have no idea how much that money could mean to someone. €150 is a lot of money but to some it maybe all they have to feed their family that week and they may possibly have no other money available or accessible to them. It's good to see that there are still good people out there, it restores your faith in humanity.

Honestly, yes I would. Money is just paper, to surprise a person in a nice way gives more gratification.
