Good question. There's a definition for it in the workplace, and it can be mental and physical.
And it can be undertaken by groups (peer pressure, so called friends etc) or individuals - from anywhere.
I think this defines it best :a person who uses strength or influence to harm or intimidate those who are weaker
Bottom line is that if you perceive yourself to being bullied - then you are being bullied.

It's pretty much anything said or done to make another person feel uncomfortable, intimidated or threatened, whether it is deliberately intended or not. The law does recognise emotional abuse as well as physical abuse, it's just that the former is more difficult to prove than the latter, but not impossible; emotional abuse can be more damaging than physical abuse and have much worse long-term affects on a person.

Hi Alex it's a good point how do you define it ? sometimes we all do it unbeknown to ourselves and regret it afterwards, I've done it in the past and felt very guilty afterwards, if you look at my thread about that poor family who lost there 2 beautiful daughters due to so called cyber bulling it makes you stand up and think how easy someone can be hurt by the things we say.
