It is an awful thing to happen and I feel very sorry for the lady in question, but the final paragraph really got my blood boiling. Why does it have to be one or the other? Why can there not be good and bad? Why is it not possible for some SW's to be happy in their work and do it of their own free will? Is that really telling the truth? It is telling of one perspective and ignoring, in fact denying the rest.

It's horrible the way they will use a harrowing story like this to abuse the rest of us.

I listened to the trafficked girl on George Hook's show this evening and there were some inconsistencies in her story. She was terrified of the trafficker at the start but later when she decided to change her life around she suddenly was no longer intimidated by him, I don't get it.

Considering the source is ICI, who knows whether the young lady is even telling the truth ? After all , they promoted Justine Reilly as a genuine victim ,when she had a conviction for pimping.

Of course, I'm sure ICI will tell the politicians that they meet of the PSNI's findings in their NI submissions of 'significant levels of prostitution and trafficking in their recent investigations with Sweden' ...........

Any sex trafficking is apalling,whether it is in Sweden or Ireland . When TORL cover up the sex trafficking that does exist (strongly according to PSNI) in Sweden, it shows that they're quite happy to mislead people just to get their radfem views accepted.

I've said similar myself before now and got an ear bashing for it, so try to avoid making assumptions with regards to stories being made up, but real or not, they certainly use and abuse the information they have to condemn the rest of us.

Is it fair to ask,was it people on this site thathad a pop off you ?

Well ,always remember if ever you debate with someone about the merits of criminalisaing clients, that Sweden has major sex trafficking problems and underage prostitution problems which even the biased Skarhed Report.
And that's before even mentioning trafficking and underage prostitution in the States where criminalisation has been in existence for over a century.

I heard it on Hook this evening. Terrible and yet credible! There is obviously an undercurrent of trafficking and such pimping going on and no one will admit it but hide behind independent tags etc. We the punters and the real indie escorts are going to suffer because the legislators will take the easy way and and criminalise us!

Actually , i thought the 'victim' was quite INcredible. Coincidentally, her story was released the day before the lobbying of Leinster House TDs .... the trauma occured years ago which now can't be verified ......what was the name of the home that she was forced to perform......15 men a day ? yet not a single punter suspected something after a a few weeks.....


After the previous claims of a few months back , i'd have very little meas in what ICI say considering how much evidence of the Swedish model failure that TORL cover up

I agree that TORL and others are manipulating some of these girls for their own ends and the truth gets blurry but I believe that something bad has happened these people and others who are afraid to talk. We cannot dissect and discount every such claim that comes along because of a few inaccuracies- it is possible that some loved ones are still at risk when people make these claims.
