    Electric ones appeared quite early. Not long after the toaster and kettle. The Victorians weren't exactly as we tend to think of them.

    Your knowledge is impressive. So in order of priority were to get yourself sorted with a slice of toast and a cup of tea first. Funny Victorians had it all backwards .......
