Having spoken to a few in the know re the law and how they would go about prosecuting a punter, its clear the law is unworkable in that area as the burden of proof is so high that its almost impossible to secure a conviction. Catching an agricultural worker living in poor conditions and being trafficked and exploited is easier and is to be applauded.

Mind you if they wanted to catch a punter it was piss easy last week in the city centre as there was a dude standing outside one block with a bottle of wine in his hand and shouting down the phone "I'm outside now, what number is it"

Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

I'm studying law in Belfast and it would not be that difficult if they had the proper resources to carry it out, ok would not always end in a conviction but would make things very embarrassing for the client. Northern Ireland is so strapped for cash at present and have heard one or two cases of guys being caught and it can be a right mess for them.
Clients must not get complacent and still must be vigilant.
