It is a problem for me too, however a workaround is to zoom out the page - I press at the same time: Ctrl -
Then it's Ctrl + to zoom in, or Ctrl 0 to reset the zooming.
After pressing Ctrl - for three times, fonts become smaller, still readable, and it's possible to scroll through the page

Worked for me for a long time, but for the past week or so I have been getting this half loading screen that never actually loads

Yes, I tried it, it only zoomed in & out, otherwise made no difference and didn't solve the issue.
You wont know, until you try!

Ctrl zoom in and out works only works only on the browser not on the quality of the image.
