Threads going off topic

way too many threads going off topic- what are the mods doing ?

I imagine this thread will turn into a discussion on

- how to boil an egg
- best jumping point from the clarion
- underwear theft
- ben johnson
- pictures of animals in bizarre poses
- skid marks
- The lisbon treaty
- Bankers

Well get on to Jake he is the man to keep threads on topic ,no off topic threads over there
he will lock em in a flash.This of course has created another problem instead of no off topic
threads he just has no threads.
My take on this is a thread is like a conversation u start on a topic but that conversation will
almost without fail end up on a totally different topic,personally i dont see the problem, one
post and ure back again to the original topic
