Its not a case of getting screwed or burnt. Im actually a very difficult one to screw or burn but even so it does get tiresome at times. Like i said its not even a case of looking for thanks or even anything in return but more of a case of at least a person recognising that not everyone would help them but i guess thats why these ppl are stuck with crap around them. The only thing is most of these ppl eventually learn but its too late then.

yes its this 'taken for granted' thing by people, its good to help out people but u should make it clear u are doing it as a favour people can start taking u for granted if they feel u are stuck with them & u are going nowhere, let people know u too can be upset speak your mind, I know your not looking for eternal thanks but its a low feeling to be taken for granted
As for Thai women well I have much experience of their kind believe me I speak from experience when I say that in general they are manipulative scheming selfish type who have scammed monies from friends of mine through lies & deceit , all the same I have one nice Thai friend -I used to steal knickers from her...

I have always believed in 'doing onto others as you would have them do onto you'.

I have always made myself available to help people out when I can. There have been times when I have wondered why, when the 'good deed' doesn't seem to be appreciated. I would probably do it all over again, even knowing the outcome, because it doesn't cost anything to be nice.

I'm not religious, but I'm hoping the reward will be great in heaven(7 virgins .....oh wrong religion for me)

Some people are takers, I think. They get what they can from people and move on to the next person. Sometimes people are embarassed having to ask for help or even just accepting it, so they avoid you afterwards or maybe even lie. The thing is not to let other people change you. You also get something from doing people favours and it's much more important than what they get.
I'd confront that Thai girl. Quietly but firmly ask her why is she telling lies. The answer mightn't be honest but it could tell you alot nonetheless.

I have pride, there is nothing wrong with that, but I don't plan on falling any time soon.

I have no plans for converting either, I have heard virgins are overrated anyway.
