One of the most important albums ever recorded, because of the way it was recorded, and some of the techniques they used are still being used today, between the Beatles George Martin and the engineers at Abbey Road, they did some cool stuff during that time, the "process" of recording changed for every album to follow Sgt. Peppers.
Brilliant album. I always find it hard to pick their best record. Rubber Soul was the first really defining album that saw the band mature into studio wizards, Revolver followed and Sgt. Peppers really took it up a notch and then I love Abbey Road also!
