The word rock is used too loosely today i think. Everyone that picks up an instrument is rock. I wouldnt consider Queen rock in the true sense of the word either and i have seen Joel called rock before. Sabbath to me are not rock but metal but they are called rock, Gallagher seems to be more classic blues than rock.

All called rock at some stage though,

Sabbath were metal in the day but music scenes change and things get put in other categories.
You couldnt have Sabbath and a modern metal band in the same categoty

To be fair, rock originates from blues (as does most music) but in the sense that rock tunes (usually) follow the pattern of a twleve bar blues riff.

A complete waste of a potentially great band. Que and ACDC both played one song each. All the rest of their stuff seems to be the same.
