Its crazy that ladies can't work in pairs without risking being done for brothel keeping etc.
I'm doing up a petition about this

Probably a bad idea, because it brings attention to it.
(was editing my post above, but it timed out so u can delete above and keep this. )
Probably a bad idea, because it brings attention to it, which digs up that tired old trafficking argument, (which has now been debunked as overblown by a british article) , and then you'll have people say the rule will be abused etc..
yes, safety in numbers. But it just won't happen in the law unfortunately.
Patty ,
U will have to meet moncrief and put your arguments to him ...................or else give me one of those "luke , i am your father " thingys and i can be the spokeman

I think this is a good idea, if it's done carefully.
Our current laws are the result of pressure by two very different groups of people. One lot simply think prostitution is evil and should be banned. They would probably ban sex in general if they thought they could get enough popular support. The other lot are motivated by a genuine concern for the ladies involved. These people are sincere, even though they are often misguided. The only hope for a change is to separate these two groups.
What we need are ideas which make escorts safer, without making exploitation easier. Letting escorts work together in small groups obviously makes them safer. The argument from the other side will be that it makes them easier for a pimp to control. Can we phrase things to make it clear that the change will affect only small groups of escorts working on their own? If so then I think we have a chance.
“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.
It could be a delicate subject at the moment, with the recession, there is so much begrudgery at present, when you think of people losing the jobs and possibly then their homes. Then you hear the E-I community looking to legalise brothels (great idea) we would be all fucking lynched, I feel we should just be grateful with what we have. There's a difference in not having money to put food on the table and others punting away boundless amounts of money. I'd leave it be for the moment, we're onto a good thing.
Once a prick - always a prick.
