Yeah i used the lets get checked kit as well. But i went to a private healthcare clinic in belfast. Just to see a consultant and to get the kit. They sent it off and i got them to personally check below just incase. Got the results in a few days by logging on. Price i think was around £200 but that was also for the consultant and that was for the full kit. Pretty good the way it was all handled and all anonymous except for fone no. If you wished to include it.
Good thread and glad that someone put it up. Well done

Cork: GUM Clinic in South Infirmary Hospital. Good news: they now only do ONE swab. A few seconds of agony and it's all over. It used to be 2 swabs and I went to a private clinic before where they took 3 swabs!!! ffs

Also, as regards those home checking kits, I've heard that urine is not as accurate as a swab. I think it's possible the home kit could tell you you're clean when you could in fact have NSU (non-specific urethritis).

The home test kits don't test for all the 21 STI that the sexual health screen check for so it is quite possible that a clear result from them could mean that you have some other non specific or skin condition. I think it is better than nothing though. If a person is not willing to test the formal way, anything is better than nothing.

There are many doctors that provide sexual checks with a reasonable charge.
I go to a place in Swords.
There is a charge but it's not expensive.
    No waiting.
No one knows why you're there.
    No riff raff.
    Parking.
    The doctor speaks English

What tests do you get? I am assuming HIV, SYP and Gonhorrheoa?
