Question Question about wedding ring

My Question of the Day: In a traditional wedding ceremony, the exchange of marital vows usually includes the exchange of wedding rings. Over the last several years I’ve noticed that more and more married people, especially men, even when they don’t hesitate to make it known that they’re married, do not wear wedding bands. Is this something that you’ve noticed, as well? If so, and even if you haven’t noticed it, what do you think of this “new trend”?

Most people I know who are married only had a ring for the bride. The fellas didn't bother with one.
Also, I expect many don't wear their ring if it would be a health and safety issue at work.

Just a small note:
The tradition of wear ring,is from the 17's century, where in the cerimony the groom would give a ring to the bride, the meaning was to show to the society that "she" pertence an someone, that, she was someones"s woman, the men didn't need to wear one and today is only mean, change vows....
is what I say in a documentary....
maybe that's why man, don't wear to often, coz was obligation only for the woman.
Retired for good all together.
Thank you all the gentlemen I met, who I'll have sweet memories of it.
Kids, don't do anything that I wouldn't after I'm gone( the good part?) not much left Loll
