    Question Laptop Screen Replacement Help

    Hi All

My laptop has developed a wired black smudge & vertical & horizontal multi coloured lines on the screen

Can anyone reccommend someone/somewhere in Limerick where I can get my screen replaced over the next few days?

    Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Nat x

There is a small shop there on thomas street up the road from Kranks corner , that does all that kind of stuff (and if your laptop is fucked beyond repair they will buy some parts off you)

    Thanks hun

I'll try to google them to get a name & address.

its a feckin nightmare to say the least. I had a wee snooze and it has spread from about an inch square in the top corner to a 5th of the bloody screen

expect to pay around 100-200 euro to have the screen repaired and it can take up to 3weeks.

Sounds like you've busted the seal that keeps the LCD liquid in place.. new screen I'd say.
