I've run out of patience with the notion that Kevin Doyle is a good player. Not in my book.

Ref took no crap from him tonight with his usual falling over any time a defender is at his back.

And he has this infuriating habit of expecting every forward ball played to him to somehow surprise the defender and roll past him while he goes on a clever little run.

Cox looks half decent. Walters was great when he came on and Long deserves more game time. I'd have best in the squad ahead of doyle also.

Anyway he'll be suspended for the first play off. I think it's a good thing.

The point I’m trying to make about Best is this when Keane isn’t playing we never look like scoring a goal, considering is form this season so far he deserves a chance. He’s big, strong can run at defenders and his got some class. When Keane’s not playing we’ve nothing up front and I agree with Bruno Doyle has had more than enough time but he’s just not good enough at this level.

The young players are not good enough, although they are good but I think chances of Ireland making to major tournaments are nearly gone. There is not world class players coming through the system. I know they play football for money, but that's where it ends for them.
Can't blame the manager because he can only manage, he's not playing the game on the field. It's the players who play.

I hate United LTG, not the game. Although the players don't deserve what they are being paid, it is still a beautiful game!
