I was living in an apartment block near a certain cathedral a couple of years ago.
Talk about running the gauntlet every evening

I ahem ..knew somebody in this very situation.. and while it's easy to make jokes & think we'd all be open minded.. when it comes to paying that mortgage, other factors do kick in!!
Escorting may be quasi legal in Ireland but let's face it, when we frequent this den of iniquity that is EI, we invariably become much more immune/tolerant to other people's private lives- but many Irish people are nosier than a rhino on steroids & will poke their beaks into anything they see!! My buddy was a bit relieved when the tenant moved out after six months- it's a hassle getting phone calls from silly wankers & all you care about is paying the place off- to be fair the girl paid everything owed & if she didn't attract attention, he wouldn't have cared less what she was doing & she might still be there... just being honest!

I wouldnt have a problem with that scenario, after all they are not doing any harm to my life, so why should I be concerned, unless serious crime is involved, then that's a different matter.
